HISTORY OF THE PRAYER FLAG PROJECT:

The Prayer Flag Project, born in the summer of 2024, is meant to inspire, send out blessings, and plant seeds of connection and kindness as an active response to the suffering in the world.

Last year, women came together and created 105 flags, which will be kept as a complete work of community art, to be flown in different locations for special events in our community.

For 2025, we will gather in groups of 12-16 to make the flags.  Each person will make two flags:  one to keep for yourself, one to donate to the project.  The donated flags will be given to a community group of our choice, flown to support their work in the community and the world.

Currently we are full for the three Saturdays in summer of 2025.
