Resources for the Long Haul
Created alongside Dr. Stacey Leakey, Resources for the Long Haul offers evidence-based strategies and experiential approaches for caregivers managing stress, secondary trauma, and burnout, We have designed this small group experience to give carers an opportunity to safely ‘try on’ various approaches to care of self, while also noticing what gets in the way.
Group needs will shape the experience, and approaches may include mindfulness/meditation, self-compassion, somatic awareness and movement, reflective practices, creative explorations, and systemic constellations.
In between each session, you will be invited to participate in personalized homeplay (personal prescriptions) created by us after each session to tap into a deeper understanding of yourself and your needs.
Our goal is to help you plant seeds—for yourself and future generations—seeds that include caring for yourself while you live, work, and care for others.
